INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

 

HW provides environmentally sustainable planning, engineering, and scientific solutions for a wide range of clients. Our team applies an interdisciplinary approach to our work, combining engineering and science with land use planning and public policy. HW offers a wide range of options for internships. Whether you’re seeking a summer position, a part-time internship during the academic year, or a full-time internship for a semester, we are always looking for enthusiastic candidates who share HW’s mission to join our team. Whether you are an aspiring planner, engineer, scientist, landscape architect, surveyor, or have other skills that you think would fit in at HW, we encourage you to apply to join our team.

HW has offices in Sandwich, MA, Boston, MA, Exeter, NH and Providence, RI. Primary work locations may depend on your area of interest. Interns typically work in-person at least 4 days per week.  

Compensation:

$22-$30 depending on experience and undergraduate/graduate status.

SUMMER INTERNS


Summer interns typically join our team for 8-12 weeks, with flexibility built in to accommodate academic or personal calendars. Summer interns should be available 40 hours per week.

 

FALL AND SPRING INTERNS


Fall and Spring interns typically join our team for 1-2 semesters, or 12-36 weeks depending on availability. Fall and Spring interns should be available at least 16 hours per week, and may work more as desired. Work schedules can be flexible to accommodate classwork and other commitments.
