Final Summary Report - with Appendix (14mb)
PIWI is back!! Join us for three days of hands-on training focused on illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE), stormwater BMP tracking and maintenance, and drainage improvements for unpaved roads. Most of the course will be spent in the field, so bring your boots, clip boards, and crowbars!
Participation is free, but space is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t wait! Registration closes April 30th . Each participant needs to be registered individually (rather than a signing up as a single Department). Registration is important in order to accurately provide field supplies, lunch, training materials, etc. If you change your mind and are unable to attend, please let us know so we can move people up from the waiting list.
Each day starts at 8 AM at the Susupe Multi-Purpose Center for classroom sessions. Then we will take to the field for manhole popping, BMP inspecting, and dirt road hiking adventures. Yummy picnic lunches will be provided for all participants, but you are on your own for breakfast and dinners. Each day will wrap up back at the Susupe Multi-purpose center and will end at 4 PM.
Unlike the first PIWI, no transportation or lodging reimbursements will be provided by PIWI sponsors.
